Jorhat Engineering College successfully concluded its 21-day-long Induction Programme for the Freshers’ Batch 2026 with a vibrant two-day Freshers’ Programme held on 1st and 2nd September 2026 at the AKB Auditorium.
The concluding celebrations brought together students, faculty members and the JEC community for two days of cultural performances, entertainment and recognition of student talent. The Freshmen Social featured a diverse array of performances, including Sattriya, Dihanam, Bihu, theme and modern dance, instrumental performances, solo and duet singing, chorus group songs and drama.
The programme also included the Prize Distribution Ceremony, the Sangeeta Baruah Memorial Awards, and the Induction Closing Ceremony, marking the formal culmination of the students’ 21-day induction journey.
The celebrations provided the freshers with an opportunity to showcase their talents, interact with the wider JEC community and begin their college journey on a memorable note. The enthusiasm and participation of the students reflected the vibrant academic, cultural and social spirit of Jorhat Engineering College.
